Anna Zeiter is a leading expert in data, media, artificial intelligence and digital responsibility, with extensive experience at the intersection of technology, law, privacy and innovation.

She is the CEO of W, a European social media platform, where she works at the forefront of the evolving digital landscape. She also serves on the Board of Modern Times Group (MTG) and on the Privacy & Security Advisory Board of Flo, contributing her expertise to the responsible development and governance of technology-driven platforms.

Previously, Anna spent more than a decade at eBay, where she served as Chief Privacy Officer and Vice President for Privacy, AI & Data Responsibility. In this role, she worked on complex challenges surrounding data protection, artificial intelligence, privacy governance and responsible data use within a global technology company.

Anna holds a PhD in Media Law and Free Speech from the University of Hamburg and is an Honorary Professor of Data Protection and AI Law at the University of Bern.

Her work focuses on the critical questions shaping the future of AI and digital society — including responsible AI, data governance, privacy, digital rights and the balance between technological innovation and individual freedoms.
