Dr. Francisco Ruiz-Navarro

Dr. Francisco Ruiz-Navarro M.D is research associate and R&D director of the Austrian Society for Regenerative Medicine in Vienna, Austria where he focus his research in stem cell therapies for neurological disorders. Before, he was performing research in the Cerebrovascular Department at the National Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Mexico City with special interest in multicentric population studies with Hispanic stroke patients.

He was research assistant in the Brain Bank and Center for Research and Physiology, Biology and Neuroscience Department at the Institute of Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV) in Mexico City.

He obtained his medical degree in the Anahuac University in Mexico City, became USMLE board certified in the United States of America and the title of Dr. med. univ. in the Medical University of Vienna.

Dr. H. Bansal

Dr Himanshu Bansal, principal investigator of the Indo-US mission, is working on an ambitious venture to infuse life into patients declared brain-dead.

He completed his medical school residency and post-graduation from King George Medical College in Lucknow, U.P. He decided to enrich himself in Hip and Knee replacement at Aarhus University Hospital at Denmark, Hip replacement unit of Guy’s Hospital of Kings College at London and Orthopaedic Traumatology unit of Wurzburg university hospital at Germany & microsurgery at Osaka city university Japan. He has developed MRI based classification of Spinal cord injuries and developed a comprehensive treatment with autologous tissue like BM stem cells, Dural nerve graft, nasal olfactory tissue and omental transposition after assessment of type and severity of SCI on MRI.

In one of his quests for treatments for Spinal Cord Injury worldwide, he got an insight on stem cell application in Spinal Cord and Neurological disorders. This was followed by various visits at the Institute of experimental medicine Prague, Beatson Institute, university of Glasgow and Saint Gerkatuen Hospital, Germany.

He has developed MRI based classification of Spinal cord injuries and developed a comprehensive treatment with autologous tissue like BM stem cells, dural nerve graft, nasal olfactory tissue and omental transposition after assessment of type and severity of SCI on MRI.

He has built a charitable hospital for orthopedic traumatology at Rudrapur, Uttrakhand, providing charitable treatment to poor masses and also established the first microsurgery unit of the state. He has been successful at inventing new types of cost effective implants to aid in successful fracture surgery outcomes like the patented forearm interlocking nail, locked nail for fracture of lower end radius.

Dr. Nathan S. Bryan

Dr. Bryan earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport where he was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research. He pursued his post-doctoral training as a Kirschstein Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bryan has been involved in nitric oxide research for the past 16 years and has made many seminal discoveries in the field. These discoveries and findings have transformed the development of safe and effective functional bioactive natural products in the treatment and prevention of human disease and may provide the basis for new preventive or therapeutic strategies in many chronic diseases.

Dr. Bryan has published a number of highly cited papers and authored or edited 5 books. He is an international leader in molecular medicine and natural product chemistry.

Dr. Bruce Werber

Dr. Bruce Werber was elected Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Company on November 4, 2016. From 2011 to 2016, Dr. Werber served as a consultant of medical and surgical industries of Cuboid Associates. From 1981 to 2014, Dr. Werber practiced as a Board Certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon in Rhode Island and then in Arizona, the CEO of several medical practices.

In 2012, Dr. Werber founded and, from 2012 to 2015, served as the President of Amnio Technology LLC, creating the company as well as the processing and clinical science related to utilizing placental tissue in orthopedic medicine. Prior to founding Amnio Technology, Dr. Werber has authored and published several peer reviewed papers most notably are his last two peer reviewed papers relating to using placental tissue in the treatment of diabetic wounds, plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinosis. Dr. Werber has spoken and lectured on this topic extensively around the United States and internationally.

Dr. Werber has submitted eight patent applications in the area of placental tissue, seven of which are still pending and one has been granted. Dr. Werber served as the President of the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons from 2003 to 2004. He continues to serve as an associate professor Midwestern University.

He has been a leader in the field of limb preservation and foot and ankle surgery, introducing new successful technologies to improve patient outcomes. He is well versed in bioengineering with extensive research in the field of neuro-modulation. His extensive business experience includes the development of the northeast franchisee of Discovery Zone, in addition to founding and managing successful medical practices in Rhode Island and Arizona.

Dr. Werber earned his DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) in 1980 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA and a B.S. in Biology-Physics in 1976 from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY.

Professor Ahmed Hashash

Professor Ahmed Hashash has completed his PhD from Manchester University, UK. He is a fellow of the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) and New York University Medical School (MSSM), USA. Prof.

Ahmed Hashash worked as a senior biomedical research scientist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He was Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator of Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine at Keck School of Medicine and Ostrow School of Dentistry of The University of Southern California, USA. In 2016, Prof. Hashash has joined The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Medical School-Zhejiang International Campus, (ZJU) as Tenure-Track Associate Professor and Senior Principal Investigator of Biomedicine, Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine. He is also adjunct Professor at the School of Basic Medical Science and School of Medicine, Zhejiang University.

Prof. Hashash has several breakthrough discoveries in genes/enzymes that control stem cell behavior and regenerative medicine. He has published more than 25 papers in reputed international journals and serving as an editorial board member of repute. Prof. El-Hashash acts as a discussion leader at the prestigious Gordon Research Seminar/Conference in USA, and a Peer Reviewer/ International Extramural Review for The Medical Research Council (MRC) grant applications, London, UK.

He is invited to speak at several international conferences in USA, Spain, Greece, Egypt and China. He is the editor or author of several books on stem cell and regenerative medicine.
